Happy wife, Happy life!

Ok I'm comin' over! That is exactly what I made 2 weeks ago including the romaine with a little evoo salt and pepper but your steaks look much better than the ones I made. What are those 1 1/2" thick? The only problem I had with mine is not putting enough DP Cowlick on them.

Looks like you aim to please Ross. Nice looking dinner. I did a New York about MR for lunch. Frozen Egg Rolls on the egg for dinner with a little Grilled Chicken Breast.
-
Looks like you gave her what she wanted! Those look great. Any marinade?
-
Mark,
Yes there 1 1/2 in the seasoning is southern flavor Char-broil seasoning and Southern Flavor Garlic Seasoning.
Ross -
No, just Southern Flavor Char-broil and Southern Flavor Garlic Seasoning

My BGE dealer is also a fine butcher shop and I think it's high time I paid them a visit Sat. for some aged ribeyes.
-
I use the southern flavor as well. Its great.
-
I hope she didn't want more sear than the photo, then you made lump charcoal.
-
They almost look blackened, ever try that?
Mike -
Mike,
I haven't done blackened yet.
Ross -
I marinate the raisingther steaks with little oil with seasoning in plastic bag for 6 hours and only do 90 sec per side 670 then imin per side get rare heavy sear
-
CW,
They were just right.
Ross -
Brian,
She was happy, a happy wife is a happy me.
Ross -
Very nice looking.
I will have to try that method, as I like a bit more sear on my meat.
