Marinade for beef kebabs?
BarbieQ
Posts: 41
Anyone have a recipe I can use to marinate some lovely chunks of beef tenderloin that I intend to skewer and grill with sweet onions and red bell peppers? Bought a whole tenderloin at Sam's, cut a bunch of steaks for the freezer and these are the pieces left over.
Thanks!
Thanks!

BarbieQ,
I buy a few whole tenderloins from Sams myself.
Base recipe for kabobs:
6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate
24 oz. beer. Drink 12 oz while preparing put the other 12 oz in the container
10 oz teriaki sauce
garlic salt
minced onion enough to cover all chunks
Don't know much you are cooking so I can't give excact measurements.
Mix all ingredients and cover. Try to let set overnight.
This should give you a sweet and sour taste.
Good luck,[p]CWM

BarbieQ,
Ever heard of Spiedies, a marinated meat that is served on bread in the NE, if your interested try this address for good info:

Jim Minion,
An interesting read--thanks for sending the address! I believe I have had this dish before, while traveling in the northeast. I've got a boneless leg of lamb in the freezer that would be great to cook this way.

Thanks, Stogie! I can almost taste the Satay just by reading the recipe--don't have all the ingredients on hand tonight but you can be sure I will try this one!
