<p />bigmikej,[p]I like them srubbed and washed. Add a little butter on the skin and wrap in tin foil and place on the cooker at any temp over 225°. You will need 2-3 hrs depending on the temp at which you cook them. Then remove foil, slice open, add butter, brown sugar and a touch of cinnamon.[p]Tim

  • bigmikej, How timely for you to ask thiss question today! I brought 4 small sweet potatoes home today for the egg. My favorate method: clean and coat with olive or peanut oil (peanut withstands the high heat better, but olive works fine in a pinch.) Wrap in foil, individually or together. I put them in the egg on rising temperatures which will get to 650. Yep, that way you will get a blackened peel which will fall right off and provide a delicious carmelized flavor. Time really isn't critical, I guess 45 minutes? If not soft inside when you remove them, put in microwave for 3-5 minutes (4 potatoes.) This won't hurt the flavor or texture at all. Serve with copious butter and a hint of cinnammon.
