In editing a post, the user should have the ability, (maybe he does and doesn't know it) to delete his own post. I tried several times to post a picture before I got it right and would to delete my failures.

Sometimes you get an answer somehwhere else, or you figure out something before someone responds to your post and you should be able to delete it so no one wastes their time helping you when you no longer need it.

Unless it is a new addition you do not have the ability to completely delete a post..you can edit it and delete the contents of the post and rename it..but not totally delete it...I wouldn't worry about it though..as fast as posts flip on this forum in a few hours your post will be buried several hundred posts down... ;)
