Burgers (before the rains came)

Morning All:

Nothing fancy tonight, just some simple burgers. Mixed 4 lbs of burger, some worchestershire sauce and some DP Raisin' the Steaks, then patted out 12 burgers (about 1/3# each). Topped 6 of them with DP Shakin' the Tree and the other 6 with DP Red Eye Express.

On the Egg direct at about 300 dome temp on raised grid with some hickory for flavoring.

Didn't think about adding cheese until after they came off, but then EggHatter is the only one who wants the cheese anyway.

    Nice Jay. I love burgers but tend to over do it and they look more like meatloaf's. Reheating some country ribs now while waiting for the start. Should be fun,, from pole to 10'th in 10 laps. :laugh: :laugh:

    The ribs sound good. I made 12 burgers so that we could have some for leftovers during the week. Even leftovers from the Egg are better than the original at most restaurants. :laugh:

    Omaha is on my mind, but probably not on my schedule. As of right now the only other Fest we may make this year is probably Atlanta and that's not for sure. But we will see.
