Just want to thank again all the members of this forum that gave me good advise on how to finish my cook yesterday. The foiling idea was great! The advise was seeked after the butts had cooked for 13 plus hours at 250 dome and were sitting at about 160 internal. I heated up some coca-cola, added some Bad Byron's Butt Rub (BBBR) and coated the butts before closing them in foil. The internal meat temp really came up with the grill stoked to 350. I hit my 190 internal in about an hour (I left the remaining degrees to the carry over cook). I actually had time to let them sit in the cooler for an hour and I pulled them in front of the guests which added to the overall presentation.
