Good morning Eggheads and those who somehow find joy in Non-Egg'd groceries.
My turn and toss mechanism somehow switched to the 'on' position while I was in dreamstate. It could well be because I had just incurred a serious shrapnel wound to much of my chest area and port side lifting device during a fierce military battle in 1742 France. I was taken to a farm house where a number of battlefield surgeons were discussing the value of repairing my wounds if I was going to die anyway. This was not good. Fortunately, my dreamstate was interrupted by a sudden and urgent desire to visit a 21st century plumbing maintenance facility. I did and there was great happiness within the perimeter walls.
Having recovered from my imaginary wounds and my real plumbing emergency, I saw no reason why I could not perform my other assigned duties. So I proceeded to the food preparation area and conducted a visual inspection of the interior of the refrigeration unit. More specifically, the interior illuminating feature. I found it to be functioning properly.
I cautiously approached the exterior observation portal and was somewhat surprised to find Rodney Dangerbird and the rest of the Coop staff heavily involved in some sort of pretend military exercises using explosives obviously designed to induce shock and awe in the public by means of audible and visual expression. These weapons of mass entertainment were loud and colorful and were obviously being used in some sort of mock battle between the Chicken Ranch and other nearby ranches because they too were responding with their own loud and colorful reports, complete with audible and visuals that were strangely appealing to neutral spectators. Apparently, similar exercises were occurring at outposts throughout this portion of the planet. It was only later that I learned that it was in celebration of a hugely historical event that resulted in a group of displeased lifeforms rejecting their governators and granting themselves certain rights. Interesting concept.
Obviously, with all the ordinance being expended, security was not an issue. Nor was there any panky-hanky going on between Miss Mona and Rodney Dangerbird. As Agent Martha would express, "That's a good thing."
A quick check of the Forum disclosed numerous reports of Egg-Heating activity during this celebratory period. Apparently, much pleasure was created in the process. Meanwhile, there are only a token few actually up and about although 8 and 128 claim to be active. Anything over 1 and 1 is good enough for me to return to the recharging station.
Say goodnight Leroy.
