Thank you to all the folks here for your valuable info as we newbies learn to housebreak our new eggs!! Here's a technique that's been helpful in my house...

Do you have one of those FoodSaver vacuum sealers? Well, they're great for marinating. Just add food with the marinade (no need to pierce food) and place in plastic bag and seal. The marinade will get sucked into the food and work that much faster. Place in fridge if not using for a while, yet bring to room temp prior to setting on the grill.

If you have the vacuum sealer rolls of plastic that you can cut to size, leave a few extra inches on the end of the bag as you cut it. The liquid marinade will seep upwards as you vacuum seal and if you leave some room in the bag, it won't squeeze out all over the inside of your machine!!

Happy Fourth as we egg on...
