No Problems with my Egg

I feel for all the folks who post about misfitting caps and misaligning domes and hinges that don't function as designed. My MBGE came in boxes and I assembled it. I had no trouble doing so and have no problems with anything on the finished product. Dome aligns perfectly all around and seals uniformly too. Hinges and caps and nest, etc., etc. - all great.
For all of you visitors lurking and trying to decide whether to make the plunge, I suspect that there are many, many like me with "no problem" experiences who don't post about it. It's understandable that those (few?) with problems post here about it. This forum is an incredible resource and the people here are eager to help and extremely qualified to do so. With no problems, I haven't had to deal with the Mothership, but I feel confident that if I did I would be treated right.
Just my two hundredths of a dollar.

Concur completely as the doitmyselfer that I am...
And the mothership and her distribution channels will fall all over themselves to take of their hatchlings! -
Stanley,
I agree. I have two EGGs. One I purchased at the EGGtoberfest last year, therefore it came assembled.
In May, my wife gave me a brand new small as a grad gift. I was a bit worried as I too read some of the issues and questions about assembly. However, it was very, very easy. It took about an hour to assemble, but I did have the knowledge of others experiences to guide me.

I only wish that my "average" equipment purchase was a problem free as my BGE....... In my experience, the stuff that has the fewest problems in the first place also has the top notch cusotmer service backing it up, so I expect if I ever have to contact the mother ship about a problem it will be addressed to my satisfaction.

No problems with my LBGE. Other than my inability to follow directions because of my eagerness to get going...
Had to backtrack at one pt...My own impatience -
The same with me. No problems at all and we use our large egg on a daily basis. And we're blown away each time. So good !
