Tonight I decided to try out my new DO on my medium egg.I browned the ground beef with a little Raising the Steaks.

Then added some chopped onions and garlic

After that cooked a little,I added some chopped shrooms


Then,I added the(store bought
)sauce



I think it is coming along very nice :woohoo: Now I have to learn how to boil water :woohoo:

Yea Jimmy,that is a four+ yr old platesetter.As you can tell,I always use foil or a drip pan
This one has more miles on it than the other three platesetters put together :laugh: This is some pretty good spaghetti sauce though

Looks great!! I really want to make a smoked spaghetti sauce.
However, note that you will probably need to re-season the DO after the acidity of the tomato sauce.

Thanks Greg,I will keep this in mind.BTW,My DO fit in the small just fine.I put it right on the grid,but it also fit with the platesetter (legs up).I guess you had your platesetter legs down?Look forward to seein you at Teds

Thanks for the feedback on that. I was watching the kids when I tried it and come to think of it, I believe I did have the platesetter in there.

Hey Ron,I really didn't notice any smokey flavor,but it was still good.I just wanted to use my new DO :woohoo: I could have waited for wifey to come home and cook,but there's no fun in that for me
I will do it this way next time :woohoo:
