My brother is getting ready to cook a 15 pound sirloin roast on his large BGE. He's asked me to ask here for suggestions on the cook. He has some Dizzy Pig Dizzy Dust and Raising the Steaks.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks
Jay

is it a sirloin tip roast, i low and slowed one a few weeks back, 275 degrees dome. sliced it thin the next day for about 10 pounds of deli beef. it took several hours and was very tasty stuff, kinda like a poor mans prime rib as it was about 4 dollars a pound for a 10 pound piece. it was the first tip roast ive done, it would be fine at higher temps for pit beef as well. i used cowlick combined with a pepper rub, raising the steaks would be fine. off the grill at 125 degrees internal for a nice medium rare
