As always you were successful. A great looking pie indeed.
I, on the other hand, had a very similar idea last evening as I was using some left over smoked turkey breast as a topping. But it didnt go as planned.
Closing the lid after the 2nd photo I hear a strange sound, open the lid, and my dinner just wasnt going to be. Plate setter fell off ring- followed by stone and pie. Bummer!

I did chip one of the legs at Waldorf so there is an imbalance to begin with. Plus I obviously didnt place it
on evenly. Next time I wont attempt set ups in the dark:)

mary pie crust? i tried those once and they actually
weren`t too bad and obviously very easy to use.
btw i have a black lab and a shzitsu that i know would
would be highly impressed with those pies.

left for cedar point early this am. its done nothing but rain here since they left. hope they fare better

i really don't like the way the forum resizes my photos when it displays them. i tried to trick it by adding the size=800 tag in this thread, but it didn't work.

can someone explain to me the reason the forum resizes the display of photos at 620 pixels wide instead of 800 pixels wide?

I have recently started to post pictures and all of mine are 500 pixels on the long side and photobucket takes them and the forum likes them. If the forum resizes them, mine still come out fine.

your images at 500 pixels wide will not get displayed smaller. 800x600 pixel images are displayed by the forum as 620x465 pixels and it distorts them when it changes the display size. the majority of my images are 800x600. the forum used to only resize the display in a few of the possible view configurations, but now it resizes all 800x600 images to 620x465 when it displays them in every view configuration.

apparently, the forum owners do not want to change the size images are displayed, so i am forced, i guess, to make all my images 620 pixels wide if i want them to display properly.

i know for a fact my images have enticed people to get big green eggs, new or used, based just on the photos alone, so i don't understand why the forum insists on displaying them smaller and distorted. seems to me they would like the free advertising.........

oh well, i'm getting tired of asking the same question. it is what it is, i reckon :woohoo:
