sweet! i see him now! i'm in the process of devouring (not literally) his cookbook at the moment! -
We have Chris, A.K.A. Nature Boy. He is the mastermind behind Dizzy Pig rubs and spices. Also a very accomplished BBQ competition cook with several victories under his belt. He's getting more famous every day!!
Then there is BobbyQ. He received national attention on Fox news or something after taking the first place trophy for brisket at a DC BBQ competition (also Grand Champion a week earlier).
And Dr. BBQ, author of several BBQ Cookbooks and a contestant of a big completion of the Food Network. Also with a history of winning BBQ championships
And Mad Max, best known for wearing pajamas bottoms that he swears are pants.
And there are so many more, the list goes on! If you ask my son, I'm famous :woohoo:

I once saw Nixon in my bathing suit - does that count? Come to think of it, I shared a hot tub with Wavy Gravy (also in my bathing suit).

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...or, in some instances, the beer holder, but, there are sure some folks on this forum that I certainly admire. Names have been omitted to protect the guilty.
Just take your pick, ....from Char Woody to the Whiz,...In my opinion, these folks all belong in the BBQ Hall of Fame. They have greatly influenced us all.
BTW, I doubt that many of the world's really "Famous" people had time for the really important things in life like you and I do. Such a pity. They were probably once normal before they became famous. More power to them if they stayed the course.

What was Nixon doing in your bathing suit?
My claim to fame is that I once delivered pizza to Jay Leno....yea, I know, pretty weak...but to this day I remember it, thin crust, cheese only, light sauce. -
I'm wanted in 5 states, does that count
Sorry no pictures the post office has a copyright.
