Today Cornfed and I face the moment of truth.
Last night we put 2 bottles of EGGFEST2000 PALE ALE in the fridge for the taste test today. SOmetime this afternoon we will give u an update on the taste.
Today's menu includes a slab of pork ribs, in which this time we are using no seasoning...just the taste of hickory will invade our taste buds. We will also be doing chicken thighs, and sausage- both will be seasoned.
On another note BBcharcoal.com finally returned my call to order lump charcoal. Might i say i am very disappointed in the shipping price, which is 2 times more the price of the product. Seems I must depend on True Value supplying me with the black gold.

  • Smokin' Todd,[p]How much did the shipping cost you? It cost me $28.00 to get 50lbs sent to England. This was using the post office, if UPS is too expensive try Good Old Uncle Sugar's delivery service it will take longer but save you some duckets![p]I just made a visist to the local DIY and brought home a 3 kilo bag of lump for a "test" burn, if it turns out o.k. I'll be headed back for the 15 kilo bag in the morning.[p]TT
