Butt Cooking Question

Last month I cooked my first butt and used the advice that was given by the forum, thanks to all for the help. I have another butt question. I am going to cook two butts this Friday for a party on Saturday night at my inlaws. Is there a difference in time or anything if you add a second butt or do I just cook like there is one, same rules apply?? Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

If you don't have the two butts touching, they should take only a little bit longer than 1 butt, if at all. Pretty much all the same rules apply. Good luck! The Naked Whiz

I just did two this weekend. See post below. The only problems encountered were witht he lump that I selected to use. Make sure you use a good, low and slow charcoal. Otherwise you will be up early to re-load!
Good luck!

Keep em separated and they will cook as one. You will use a lot more charcoal then one butt. Also check each one individually for pulling temps, smaller one first.
