Eggtucky, here\'s the bourbon

Decided to do some recipe development. Here are the ingredients.

The idea is maple syrup and bourbon soaked waterchestnuts wrapped in bacon. The Early Times is for the cook the the Knob Hill for the chef :)

They were very good my wife thought brown sugar would help so I added some and will cook the rest tomorrow.

Cooked some pork chops to go with it

    Israeli Couscous is a toasted pasta it is one of my favs. Cook it up in some chicken stock and add mushrooms or whatever you like. If you can find slightly larger peas they are better.

    I thought the Woodford was better than the knob creek.

    EGGSOLUTELY no debate...Woodford is better than knob creek...I keep Woodford by the half gallon at all times...but between the ET and knob..you made the right choice ;)
