This is what I do. I vary the quantities based on what I have or how I feel. Ancho Chili Powder is good stuff and can be used in lieu of spanish paprika if you don't have any. Paprika is a bit more floury and sticks well and dependent on the type can be really sweet, smoky or spicy..

2 tbsp Spicy Smoked Spanish Paprika
    1 tbsp Cumin
    2 tbs Brown Sugar
    2 tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
    1 tsp Ancho Chili Powder
    2 tsp Garlic
    1 tsp Onion Powder
    1/2 tsp dried Cilantro
Kosher Salt to taste (I use about 1 tbsp)

I have used Thirdeye's recipe before with good results.

1 cup coarse sea or kosher salt
    ¼ cup granulated garlic
    ¼ cup granulated onion
    1/8 cup ground thyme
    1/8 cup ground bay
    1/8 cup black pepper
    1/8 cup celery seed
    1/8 cup Hungarian paprika

I have also used Dizzy Pig "Cow Lick" as well as John Henry's "Texas Brisket Rub" all of these are good IMO
