This was the first time I used BBD Delight Sugar Maple Pellets. I put the turkey thigh on first so it got the most smoke. The flavor tasted like I expected we had alot of sugar maples in my first house it tasted like they smell a little sweet and maplely. Not bad but I like cherry better.
The wife doctered some bottled bernaise sauce with diced procuitto and onions. It was ok but we won't be doing it again.

Looks great Tom..where's the bourbon!?! :woohoo: havent tried turkey thighs..will have to give them a go..I made chicken thighs last night..stuffed with cream cheese and half a jalpeno for good measure and doused in JH Pecan..they were awesome!..

I love turkey thighs and drumsticks. I had an enormous smoked turkey drumstick at the Pocono race. You feel like a real caveman eating one of those. I got to Egg some, but it will be something else again for my wife. I almost bought some bourbon the other day. Maybe this weekend.
