Looking for Tex-Mex recipes

Hello everyone. I think one of my favorite types of food is turning out to be tex-mex and south american food. I love the bold flavors and spicy blends that are used. Can anyone share any good recipes they might have that work well with the BGE?

i'm DYING to do a carne asada skirt steak, but i havent seen a skirt steak under $5 a lb in almost a year.

Try a Flap Steak. I have just found this piece in my local market and boy does it hold the flavor. In other parts of the country, they may be referred to as a hanger steak.

I do it all the time. I pound them pretty flat and well with a tenderizer to get the texture right and marinate them for several hours.

I did them at the CSRA Eggfest. Where were you? You could have tried some.
