My new account is active but not confirmed on this website, problem is I never received a confirmation link. I don't have any firewalls or spam-guards in the way so I'm not sure what to do now. Is there a site admin. monitoring this site who is willing to help me out please.....

You should try checking "remember me". I think most folks use that to avoid logging in every day.

What is your forum handle? We have quite a few members with "bill" in the name or handle; so, I'm not sure which one you'd like to activate.
