Sausage, pepperoni, and shrooms.
Add a little cheese.
Baked at 500 for about 15 minutes.
Not as cripsy as I want second going on in a few minutes.

So, am I seeing a pizza stone, propped above the plate setter using the ceramic Egg feet, with a metal pizza pan on the stone?
-
Yep, the second one is on parchment paper directly on the pizza stone. Hoping for a crispier crust, but as many goodies as I put on, hard telling.

Nice Mike. Been close to a month for pizza here. Gotta get off my ass and cook some.

I used one of my Egg feet as a door stop for a while, but was just today thinking about getting them out of my way and into storage. I'll keep them at my grill station now that I've seen your nifty use for them.
-
Keep track of them. Just sent several out to forum friends that my dealer kindly donated.

Mike,
Nice thin crust! I do mine on a raised grill

With or without a plate setter?

Wish I could see the pix CWM!..I'm sure they were delicious..I did pies tonight too...took plenty of pix but cant post till photobucket is unborked!!

I like the use of the feet under the pizza stone. Have you noticed a difference? One of the things I have noticed is that the stone doesn't get as hot in the middle as it does on the edges when set directly on the plate setter.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

I don't cook that many pizzas. But, I think like Ross said, cook higher in the dome for thin crust.
The first pie was a little soft in the middle, the second with parchment paper was crispy in the middle.
