A friend of ours is getting married Saturday, which also happens to be our 5th wedding anniversary. All the ladies are getting ready at our house and it's up to me to feed them. Gotta fill the belly's to prep them for the open bar later in the day. Any ideas for a group breakfast would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, just me and a house full of excited, emotional women. Wish me luck.

Mad Max if you read this, wanted to let you know that it's Mrs. FamilyGuy in the background of the picture of you and WessB at the Waldorf afterparty. She gets a kick from the responses every time that pic shows up.

My favorite egged breakfeasts are fatties and egg/brisket burritos. I am not sure if that would be well suited to your feminine guest though.

    Peter Griffin,

I love to do breakfast skillet grills on the egg. The best results have incuded a cast-iron skillet, eggs, chorizo, bacon, sweet onions and cheese. For those that like the heat (like me) FRESH diced jalapenos are a must. Heat the skillet up (I use a spider inverted), cook down the onions and breakfast meats of your choice, when the onions are close to translucent, add in the scrambled egg mixture and stir to fluff the eggs. Add cheese to the top and voila! Mmm...

Your son, Stewie! What the deuce!

I have done both of these recipes (and have tasted the Hungry Man prepared by CW himself) - they are both wonderful. I was going to list them both, but I see TB has beat me to the punch (as usual).

depending on timing, i would offer the following thoughts:
    A. they are all getting dressed up. heavy food is not going to go over well as they are all self conscious about 'looking perfect"
    B. greasy food is probably a looser
C: i think it was rtd who made mini muffin pan filo dough cups with egg and red pepper and sausage. finger food and it looks great looks great i will try to find the link.
    D. corn bread would be nice
    E. i liked the breakfast pizza idea or a quiche with vegetables
    D. grilled pineapple of some fruit dish would be good
plan your meal to the audience and ask the better half to review your menu. pardon my chauvanism , but chocolate , egged or not is always a good thing.
    good luck.
