I just stopped by my local ACE Hardware for something and asked them if they are selling any BGEs. They brought them on board a couple months ago. They told me they hadn't sold any as yet, and they didn't know anything about them that they could tell customers to help with their buying decision. I rattled off several things while paying at the register and they seemed amazed. Maybe I otta give them a class or something. Maybe BGE should hold a training seminar for new dealers.

Seems like the distributor should be educating some of the people. I'm going to a dealer tomorrow to see if wants me to do some demo cooking for him. He hasn't sold any either.

Ha, talked to the local distributor at the pork expo and he was as green as the egg.

Not sure who you talked to but it wasn't the distributor I'm guessing. The distributors set up the local dealers and they are all very knowledgeable about the EGG.

Maybe it was a new dealer or maybe a brand new sales rep for them that hasn't been exposed yet.
