YEP, they just announced it on sports center. .it is apparently a stress fracture of the knee. .. he knew it two weeks ago. . needs more surgery and he is going to be out for the rest of the year. .. .oh well. ..

To me, that makes last week even more spectacular. Most players would complain all week with those major injuries. He just guts through it when it is important to him. In my opinion, it's just another building block in making him the greatest player ever. I'm sure the tour attendance will suffer during his absence, but he'll be back stronger than ever.

Yeah I hate it that he won't be playing for so long, he's the only reason I watch golf these days. What he did this past week is beyond belief, he is the greatest golfer ever (sorry Jack). I hope he can be at 100% when he comes back.

i have no qualms about rooting against him!!! he is the best out there but i am sick to death of hearing about him every time i turn on sportscenter..


now the thing you will hear is how any championship is tarnished because tiger was not out there.....


so now for the rest of the year yelling "come on everyone else" will actually mean something :evil:
