[OT]Photobucket is broke

It appears that photobucket has temporarily bit the dust.

Every picture posted to Photo Bucket is not showing up and if I try to hit the picture URL is comes back and says XXXXX.photobucket.com can't be found.

It appears to be a DNS issue someplace.

yep went back a few pages. Only pictures I can see are ones not on Photo Bucket.

A while back you talked about photo hosting thru your server. Any progress? Photo bucket is blocked from work so posting (and viewing) are problematic.

There is still a glitch in the world wide DNS someplace is is preventing some of us from seeing pictures posted on Photo bucket.

Only thing more weird and mysterious then you is the internet. Now go sit in the corner and hush.. :woohoo:

just FYI, as a recap for those of us that aren't as smart as you.

you posted a photo to tell us photobucket images weren't visible, with no hint that the photo you posteds (which was visible) had nothing to do with the photobucket issue itself.

you tell us that photobucket is down, and that we can't see any photobucket images.

those of us that CAN still see the images are somehow idiots.

funny how all this makes US the stupid ones....

1. Yes the photo I posted is served from MY server and not photobucket. Sorry if that confused you. I will be more clear in the future that I use my own server instead of using a public server. Just to help you. The Naked Whiz does too and WessB.
