i have the v2460 it works great if i used it more i would want a little more power it does everything i need so i should not be complaining.. i was thinking about getting their marinating accesory {sp} but have been just using the bags.... do not get the containers that look like sugar jars they are not worth anything

I got the one from Costco--works like a champ. I like the dry/wet settings on there so it doesn't vacuum all the liquids out.

Oh yeah, it is an aluminum/black Foodsaver model, about $120.
