JL was cleaning on bike again this evening so I had to cook supper on the BGE. I cooked crab stuffed salmon fillets.
I sliced the salmon fillets in half and got my stuffing ready that consisted of seasoned bread crumbs and evo and crabmeat.

Jake decided to assist me with stuffing the salmon fillets.

The salmon on stainless pan ready for grilling.

The finished product cooked roughly at 300 indirect for 30 min. The finished product on plate with JL's lemonade Bean! :laugh:

Great cook (I'll probably try it this week, since it seems to be a fairly short cook...) and the red lemonade looks nice! Could have used a couple today in the heat--man it was hot in Texas today!

It has been nice getting my confidence built up by all of ya'll. I told JL this morning that his vacation was over and it was time to get back to work on BGE!

It looks like the salmon is sprinkled with something on the top too, any thoughts? also, did you slice each fillet all the way through in half and then toothpick them back together?

I sliced the salmon fillet in half and coated salmon with evo and rolled in bread crumbs after stuffing them with crabmeat mixture. Since I cooked them indirect I didn't have to toothpick them.
