What a treat! I folloed da Whiz's direction and recipe, and the chicken was delicious. Moist, and good to the last bite. I was hesitant at first about not turning the chicken over, but now I know it wasn't necessary, it was cooked through, and retained the moisture, and brining was definitely not necessay.
Da Whiz and the BGE deserve the credit, nor the cook!

    Hammer,
I just did my first one tonight. Fantastic! I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Yea me...[p]The thing that impressed me most was the ease in cooking. I did like you did: follow the instructions which were easy enough and take off after one hour. The only thing I did differently from the instructions was to leave the grill on the lower setting and controlled the heat strictly from the bottom vent, leaving the top vent pretty much closed (just a crack). I didn't open the lid until it was time to take it off: one hour. Right on the money done. For those who have a rigid schedule for dinner guests, this is perfect. [p]Congratulations on yours while I pat myself on the back.[p]Spring Chicken
