I did the unfried chicken wings again tonight.They were awesome.I used Raging River on half and Tsunami Spin on the other :woohoo:
The only thing that I did different was added some wing sauce at the very end

They look great Doug but you need to get a hanger. Only about $6 at home depot.

each one holds 12 legs or wings, they are great for even cooks. -

Yours looked good. I don't understand what you wanted to accomplish. These were in an egg wash then 50/50 corn meal/ flour with the seasonings you want. 250 indirect.
Did you want breaded? I guess that is my question.

Kind of like this?
6:1 AP Flour and corn starch with a heavy pinch of salt. Put it all in a ziploc bag, toss your chicken in, then put it on indirect at 375* - never flipped. Comes out just like fried chicken without the grease. -

I knew what recipe he was doing, but he said he wanted fried chicken without the frying, so I was trying to help him out.
You're right that mine is basically "the chicken" without the sauce and rest. -
Hey Doug great looking wings. I do the same thing with sauce but I use red hot and mixed with some melted butter in a bowel and when I take the wings off the grill I dump them in the bowel with the hot sauce and butter to coat them. Nice flavor. Gotta have them hot. lol
