Very sorry to hear of all this regional issues affecting the good performance of the Forum. To me this space has become the perfect channel for sharing a passion for cooking and exchanging invaluable personal experiences, which bring together people, cultures and reduce geographical distances, something that would be unthinkable otherwise. But most important of all, this frorum has become the perfect place to meet and make really good and honest friends. I sincerely hope this issues are solved in the near future. All the best.

I hope so to my friend. Your posts are always great and creative and look forward to every one. Your a valuable asset to this forum & I know your one of the reasons WMK will take care of this ASAP. Doing 2 racks of BB and 6 beef ribs on 1 egg & 2 whole chickens on the other. What's on your egg today??

Thank you PAT I appreciate your kind and encouraging words and believe sincerely that I still have a lot to learn from you guys.,
Yesterday was a very long day for us, started very early with a meeting in my daughters school sort of a father & daughter get together, tthey put me through a very strenuous physical test :blink: you can immagine runs...junmps.....etc.... :pinch: .then we were invited to some friends for lunch , then unexpected visits arrived at home at night so I set the egg & T'Rexed some ribeyes sorry the pics were really blurred....don't know why :laugh: ...they left at 2::00 AM , and I still had to attend a distant neighbor's birthday party so at that hour I grabed a bottle of tequila to give as present drove down to the bottom of the property....(my wife decided wisely to stay behind),,,and decided to leave my car & walk...safer that way.......when I got there I felt a bit out of place since everybody was way ahead of me in grape consumption so I had to come from behind....... :unsure: at 4:45AM the rooster literally sang so I realized had to go back home.......but not without posting to bill who had cooked some incredible planked fish.......anyway.....as you can imagine...today is recovery day for me...lots of work to do tomorrow. We are working right now to improve the regional access method. So far, it has been ip address based, which is not so very good since ip addresses change so often. I've just added to the server the "low-level" ability (i.e. built in to the Apache mod_access for those familiar with such things) to permit access based upon a cookie. I'm now working on the access request script to generate a value for this cookie and enable access using that instead of just your ever changing ip address. Hopefully this will make it easy for real users like yourself to obtain access while still blocking those that wish to attack our server that happen to be from Mexico. The "blanket" allow for Mexico that we had we overriding our detection of hack attempts. For those familiar with Apache, we are also installing mod_security which is yet another means of preventing hackers; so, between the two, we should be more secure soon w/out be so inconvenient.
