I'm planning on doing your world-famous shrimp today. I've looked at the recipe and it's clear but for one possible thing: How long do I let the shrimp sit in the marinade?
Any help is appreciated.

I'm sure Randy will chime in but I dont add it until I'm ready to cook. I make them all the time and they are great. The lemon can start to cook the shrimp.

Where can I find the recipe for the shrimp? Thanks
-
It's in the "Cookbook" link to the left, in the Seafood section. It's actually there twice as "Spicy Grilled Shrimp"
-
Ah, excellent point. I don't want ceviche, do I?

Marinate them for up to 30 minutes.
One piece of advice is to cut the salt. The recipe lists salt in Tbsp but should be in tsp (unless it has been changed).
They are really good! I add a little extra garlic and paprika when I do them. -
I saw that comment in one of the recipes and planned on cutting the salt.
I'll probably marinate them just long enough to get them on the skewers. Thanks, everyone. -
Yes, 1 tsp of salt and a quick marinade, enjoy. -RP

Thanks, Randy, I'm excited to finally try this one out. I'll take pics to bore everyone with.

As promised:
Marinated the shrimp in the (tamed) sauce for about 20 minutes, then skewered:
On the grill at 400* direct for about 2 minutes a side:
Done:
Verdict: The kids said this is a definite repeater. I used about 1/3 the cayenne pepper the recipe called for...my progeny aren't as delighted by spicy food as I am. Still, these were excellent. Thanks for the recipe, Randy. -
Looking good, glad you liked them. -RP
