Pot Roast Question

Is there any reason that until I buy a dutch oven, I couldn't substitute with a foil roaster pan?

If so, are there any modifications to recipe/temp that I should make?

    you can use aluminum or glass or metal or whatever.

    Pans (of any kind), or a roaster oven work well for finishing off a chuck roast. When using an aluminum pan, watch your heat so you don't cook off your braising liquid.
