My wife just decide that we should do a 1.25# halibut steak on the BGE! How do I do it? I have never cooked fish on the BGE

  • I just made black grouper last night on my BGE and it was fantastic! It was about 3/4 to 1 inch thick and I cooked it on 350 degrees for about 18 min. I used a jamaican jerk seasoning and mixed it with a little olive oil and rubbed it all over both sides of the fish. I cooked it on a pan with holes and used a little alder chips. I've never cooked fish on the egg and I couldn't believe how moist and delicious it was. Hope this helps.
