To all of our members getting "Access denied" all of a sudden,

We have just discovered that the "allow" we have had for some time for certain regions (e.g. Mexico) has been acting as a "back door" for hackers to attack our server. At the moment, we cannot both allow all request from Mexico *and* block hacking attempts we detect; so, we had to temporarily disable the blanket "allow" for these regions. We are working now to enhance the server software to permit what we need to make things more convenient again.

The current method of allowing access for specific ip addresses is not very convenient because ip addresses tend to change often. We are working to design and implement an improved method for handling this as well.
