Hunting around for deals this weekend, I noticed the more manly 475 watt KitchenAid is going for the SAME price as the whimpier Artisan (head-lift) and even the 450 watt. If you are making sausage or bread in massive quantities, or just don't want to burn out your motor on two loaves of German rye or whole wheat, this is great.

I happen to have the 475 and it does make a difference when doing a lot of dough.

They also have a good price and selection B000PZZ0SWon Bayou dutch ovens, which have bail handles, not the side tabs (fits into the egg better)
