after having my egg for a year, i finally found the time to do some ribs. it was the 3/1/1.5 method. all directions followed carefully. the end result was 3 racks of fall off the bone baby backs. they were truly terrific, even if i do say so myself. [p]living in memphis, i'm somewhat prejudiced about bbq. these are now my absolute favorites. will be doing more soon..at wifes request.[p]thanks to all on the forum for your help and tips. i loiter about smartly from time to time.[p]thanks again to a great site,[p]skeetbum

    skeetbum,
I've been to Memphis and I know how much y'all consider BBQ a mainstay of life. Especially ribs. If you figured out how to do them on the Egg you are going to be a local hero.[p]The Forum is a great place to share these things.[p]Spring Chicken

skeetbum, glad the ribs were a success - I've had ribs at Corkey's and the Rendezvous - However, I prefer the ribs off of the BGE![p]My daughter lives in Memphis and I'll be down in August. Questions: In your opinion, what is the BEST restaurant (any type of food) in Memphis and what is the BEST BBQ place?[p]Thanks.
