I seem to have lost my way in finding the area where you update your avitar...please point me in the right direction and what is the maximum pixel size allowed? Thank you.

    At the top of this post, click "my profile". In the resulting screen, near the bottom, you should see a place to upload your avatar.

    Thank you. Just for the record, this ONLY works from within the thread. If I select my profile from any other location, the avitar feature does not show up and the view of the profile information is much different that from other locations.

    Yes that is true. It is because we've integrated several systems to get what we have here. Only the original, forum specific, profile currently permits uploading an avatar image. This is because the "extended" profile component we used to add things like, "cookers", and "wish list", from the old profiles, does not allow image upload as a custom field. We'll have to add it when we get some time.
