tried a couple different things to embed a video from photobucket into a post. the IMG code didn't seem to work, and the photobucket link changed the file from a video to a jpeg file. hmmm.

using the html code causes a 'film frame' with photo to be displayed, but clicking on it takes you to photobucket (and directly to my album).

after watching the file on photobucket (after following the html link), there's an option to copy an "embed" link, presumably to embed the actual video itself so that you can play it right within the forum post. that didn't seem to work, though.

any idea how we can embed the video into the post without requiring exiting the post and landing off-forum and in my photobucket album?

    We haven't tried to embed a video. Since the forum requires "BB code" to include html stuff (which is for safety purposes), it's possible that the codes for embedding video are not supported via BB code. We'll have to take a look at it once we get the new template deployed, which should be very soon now.
