Changing Font Size Won't affect

when reading posts or posting new topic.

Logged out last night then logged back in today and font size inside posts are at 7 pt Arial.

Go to home page which is the only place I can see the Change Font Box and select 160 & Veranda. I go back to either forum and when opening posts the point is at 7 pt.

I normally use clasic narrow, however, this is also happening in other views also.

From below post there are at least two people experiencing simular problems.

Is this something unique to a few of us or is it a known problem?

I only notice this issue in the "flat" view. The font size controls work for me in classic view. You might try using "greeneggers.net" to see if the new template works better for you. The font controls are different there (the three "A" buttons at the very top of the screen -- they are available on all pages instead of just a select few; and, they should affect all text instead of hit being so hit-and-miss.)

We are still testing over there so you may notice some issues, but we do need to get some feedback also; so, give it a try. We won't be fixing these issues on the old template; and, once it's ready (very soon now) we'll be deploying it to eggheadforum.com which will remain the proper home of the forum.

After taking a quick spin over on the .net side. The three font sizes seem to be pretty close together.

Some quick thoughts for now...

The largest is still a little small for me. I would like to see a forth or a larger difference within the three choices.

The font size choice seems to hold, I will know better when I have more time to jump around.

I click the hide top button but still have the Update Central info on the page. I though the hide top would eliminate that?

Okay, we'll add another, larger, one; or, make the current largest one bigger still.

The "Eggfest Central" module collapses independent of the header. Click on the title of the module. The "Update Central" module may also be collapsed.

Well re: Eggfest Central, it would be neat if I would have looked closer and clicked on the arrows... Sorry about that.

The font size, there will be a lot of people that will like the largest size as it is. I would think some would like a larger choice.

Not sure if it is possible but the increase/decrease % was nice as it was to be able to select the font face.

30 minutes to an hour of 'mousing around' here on the .net site is enjoyable.
