Someone mentioned Winn Dixie Lump Charcoal for $5.99/ 8.8 #s the other day. So today I went and got a bag and next to it was some Elmo's HW w/mesquite from Mexico 6.6#'s $3.99. bought a bag and at the register they took $2.00 off for being a member of their saving club?? Well for $.30/lb it looks good medium pieces. May have to get some more.

I do believe I was the one talking about W-D lump. Actually I think it was priced at $4.99 per 8.8# bag. I have used one bag so far and was satisfied with it. When I can find it I will probably pick some up if for no other reason to have some reasonably decent lump on hand.

Morning Jay?? We in a different time warp, like with the Spring Chicken??? hehe The Elmo's w/ mesquite will probably spark like most Mexican mesquite I have used, BUT for $.30 lb?

Know which store you probably went to but stopped at the one beachside for something else but had to wander over to the grilling section & they had no lump just junk.. Let me know how it does.

I bought a bag of Duraflame lump out of desperation yesterday. I was quite surprised...no sparking and clean burn right away. It looks like it's all hardwood floor cuttings but it was cheap.
