Leaky BGE Grill/Table Cover

The other day we had big time rain. At least a few inches over the course of several hours. Not a lot of wind, just a ton of rain. The next day I pulled the BGE cover off my table and grill and was disappointed to see that there was a fair amount of water on both the upper and lower tables surfaces. Most of it seemed to be on the 'non-Egg' side of the table.

The cover is probably not more than a month old. I've taken good care of it and there are no obvious holes or leaks. Before I talk to the dealer or BGE, I just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Thanks!

Mine leaked to. It was a pretty easy fix, I sprayed it with some tent sealer along the seams. Don't have the name of it right now but after about six months it still does not leak.

My cover seams had the same problem But I solved using a tube of K+Kote Seam Sealer I bought at a sporting goods store that sold tents. I see the Captain used a spray, but this stuff can be applied quite heavily if need be. As long as you work from the underneath side there are no appearance issues.

As noted above a tent seam sealer should work.
