Since getting my egg a few months ago, I have toyed with the idea of getting rid of my gasser. But the little lady wanted to keep it in case she wanted to do some burgers when I am out of town. She felt starting the egg, getting the temp right, etc was a "guy thing", and I suppose there may be a small element of accuracy there.
Anyway, after having some fellow eggheads over Sunday for some food, drink, & discussion, she is wanting to learn to cook on the egg.
Doug123 brought his "small" with him, and evidently she found it less intimidating than our large, Soooooo it looks like there may be a new Egg in my future.

You don't want to get rid of your gas grill - it makes a perfect place to store all your Egg-sessories. :)

What do you mean 'may be a new egg in your future.

You should have said, honey, I got a new egg just for you to learn on then you can have the large and I will get a medium and extra large.

Further, honey I got you this mini just so you can cook something quick and easy.

It's better to ask for forgiveness than beg for permission.
