New hinge for small egg?

I have read some comments here on the forum that BGE is coming out with a new hinge for the small egg by fall. Has anyone seen what these will look like and do you anticipate that it will just be a smaller version of the spring assist hinge now out for the large and medium eggs. I have located a couple of dealers in our area who have smalls that they have had on hand for a long time. These have the older black metal slide vent on the bottom. I'm thinking that I might be able to get a pretty good price on one of these since they don't seem to move very well. However, if the new hinge will come out by fall, a newer one will have the stainless slide vent as well as the new hinge and might be worth the wait - and the higher price tag.
