Index size reduced + return to index updates

We have reduced the size of the "classic" index pages which will allow the index to load quicker, but also will produce more "pages" (i.e. you'll have to view page 2+ more often now). This may also help to reduce the workload on the server which has been running out of memory periodically and crashing.

And, we've also improved the "Return to index" link so that it will now work for messages on pages other than the first one.

Note: after clicking the "Return from index" link, the browser url will contain a message id so that refreshing this screen will continue to position the index to that message until you select another page number from the page controls at the top and bottom of the index.
