Unknown
edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
I intend to cook a couple of pork roasts today. Total weight is 7lbs. I believe I cook @ 250 degrees, indirect for a long time. [p]Any thoughts on how long?
Any thoughts on internal temp to work toward.[p]Thanks for info.[p]I am using hickory chunks, lots of coal (do I have to refill) and no sauce/rub.[p]Any tips are appreciated.[p]TW

    tcw1018,
I did a 4lb pork loin roast a week ago at 300-350 degrees for 3hours. I used a V-rack w/ drip pan, but no fire bricks or plate setter. I used apple wood and filled the fire box about 3/4s full. No problem with fire or smoke and the roast was excellent.
