Why are the posts not chronological? I'd think that if you posted a reply to a thread then it should jump to the top of the list. I find it hard to see what is newest. Am I doing something wrong? I don't know much about administering forums so I won't try to tell anyone how to do it. I've just seen other forums that read and track much better. I use gatorboats.com/forum a lot and maybe this is just what I'm used to.

I guess my question is just that...how do I see last posts chronologically?

    mattk330,

The default is for the threads to appear chronologically in the main "classic" index; and, for messages to appear this way in "last25"; so, you can see all of the recent messages chronologically by looking at last25 (though not organized into threads).

Also, there is an option in your profile that allows you to select whether threads "jump" to the top of the main "classic" index each time they get a response, which may be just what you are used to. Our long time members found this to be a bit disturbing, but it is there as an option if you prefer it to behave that way.

Perfect, thanks! I'll give that a shot!
