which island were you on, gotta love the boat, but that salad ill pass on. conch isnt one of my favorite foods, i remember eating something out there that looked like a cross between a clam and a big barnicle that wasnt half bad.

We were on Grand Bahama. 1 day on the west end and 3 on the east. Stellar weather, cautious bonefish. I don't think the FDA would approve of anything at the conch stand! The salad nice and hot with a cold Kalik-wowzer. Scott

about 2 days . the big blue and white one in the little blcak pot was cut and photoed sunday afternoon and still looks nice this morning.

i can't see the picsa, and i'm not in wide view. w/t/f? this place is effed.

i love how it opens in "wide view", which is the very view in which you can't view most pics. even still, in regular old classic not-wide view i can't see anything.

I worked on this issue w/WMK and he said it seemed to be a MSN problem which is where I post my pics. I can only see 2 out of the 3 pics that I posted. Since I've been using msn for years sans problems, I'm not eager to change. But, I like sharing with this group, so I may do so when I have some significant spare time. Equally frustrated, Scott

My parents were born and raised in the Bahamas on Turks Island and imigrated to New York. Conch was one of our seafood staples. We would have Conch and Hominy a few times a month.

Those are some great pics. We were just in the Bahamas last week too...in the Exumas specifically. There are some Rolle's in our neck of the woods there. One older gent named Tucker Rolle who supposedly fathered dozens of kids. We did our fair share of harrassing the bonefish and the durado last week. It was a good time!

Fixing to check Chickens post. Where you get the band? Got the saki on the table. Small "snort" when I get home for "medicinal" reasons only! Supposed to rain all day so good sleeping weather. Just checked Chickens forum check. A Chicken with a chicken chunker! :P Where you find all this stuff. You must have raided the old "Ronco" warehouse!! :laugh:
