I plan on cooking a couple slabs of Baby backs on my large this weekend. On my small Im gonna cook some baked beans in a Dutch oven. I would like to put some sweet potatoes on my large while the ribs cook but I dont know it 250 is high enough to cook em. How should I cook them?[p]Thanks

<p />Tom,[p]I like doing sweet potatoes along with ribs. I wash mine, dry, cover with butter and wrap in foil (I don't like a smokey potato(e). I normally cook ribs indirect at 350 deg and I leave the potato(e) on for 2+ hrs. At 225-250 it will take about 3 hours. Add more butter and brown sugar and serve -- yeoooweee good!!![p]

Thanks Tim[p]I like doing my ribs at 250. Think Ill throw em on after about the first hour or so of cooking. That wil give em at least 3 hours on the egg. Thanks for the advice. I love sweet potatoes with butter and brown suger![p]Tom
