sweating egg

Anybody had a sweating egg? i left my egg uncovered during a rain shower and it got pretty wet..today i fired it up to 650 to sear a steak and it looked like it was pushing out beads of water on the dome. cause for concern?

I do not think you have anything to worry about. Mine has also sweated quite profusely after a heavy rain and I have not seen any negative results

Stu, I never cover my medium, and I can't say I've ever noticed it sweating. I don't think it's a problem, however. Fire it up, and see what happens.

I've noticed mine would sweat after I didn't use it for a few weeks.

I did solve the problem though.......

I am glad to see these answers. My egg was sweating like a pig last night, and I was worried that somehow the shell had got damaged. But it sounds like nothing to worry about.
