So this is my first eggfest to go to, I can't for the life of me find an actual schedule of when it starts or finishes or anything. Can anyone help me out? Also what should I expect to go on during the day. thanks.

The only additional information I can provide you is that unlike other eggfest, this will be held at a popular "Oasis", which is a restaurant. They will be providing DRINKS.

this was sent by email from David Fess:
Information for the May 10th Texas Egg Fest
    at the Beautiful Oasis Restaurant

    • Cooking will start at 9:30 and continue to just a little before 4:00
at which time all cooking eggs will need to be "cooled" for loading.
We will start loading Eggs in vehicles at 5:00 and will need to be
entirely out of the area by 6:00.
    • For the cooks, the only thing to bring is food/condiments in a small
cooler and some paper plates/plastic utensils for serving and any
cooking utensils and/or accessories. Paper towels will be provided
along with hand cleaning stations and utensil cleaning stations which
are required by the Health Department.
    • Parking should be very easy – if you need to unload anything, you
can drive right up to the Eggfest area which is just to the right of
the main restaurant (there will be a large banner). Then we will be
parking in the gravel lot on the same side of the road as the
restaurant. This will be easy to see once you are there.
    • There is a large covered area and some large shade trees so for the
most part, there will be lots of shade. The Fire Department has asked
that ALL cooking be done in the open (not under a cover) so we have a
specific area where the eggs will be set up for cooking right next to
the covered areas. Wait till you see the view – there is nothing
prettier in the State in my opinion!
    • We will provide 3 Free Beer Tickets and we will also provide
unlimited sodas, water and tea through the Oasis. They will have
servers throughout the day – it would be good to have some tip money
for the servers. Otherwise, adult beverages will be available through
the servers at typical restaurant prices. No alcohol or drinks of any
kind can be brought into the Oasis as this would be a serious
    violation of their liqueur license.
    • We will have a "store" set up where you can purchase most Egg
accessories and we will have a supply of Eggs also for sale.
    • If you have registered thru Fax or Email, bring your email
conformation as this will be your admittance.
    • All pre-purchased Demo eggs must be picked up at the festival – WE
WILL NOT BRING ANY ALREADY PURCHASED EGGS BACK TO THE STORE. Local
delivery can be arranged but there would be a delivery charge.
    • We will have lots of door prizes to hand out, however we have
focused this year on providing free drinks, etc. to provide as much
value as possible to your entry fee.
    • Although we strongly encourage pre-registration, we will allow
registering and entry the day of the event so come on up anyway if you
    have not pre-registered!
